Happy Paddy's Day!

Reds are sporting the green caps today just like they did in 1978 when they were the first team to wear green on Paddy's Day.

Suck it, Red $ox.

Facebook is acting weird for me, or I would have left this there.

Check out this link from when a Phillies fan visited Alexander Cartwright's grave: http://www.thegoodphight.com/2009/3/17/800582/thank-you-mr-cartwright-an

Two things stood out that made me think of you. First, that the first baseball game was played at Elysian Fields, and second, that Alexander Cartwright's middle name was Joy. I know baseball likes the myth of Abner Doubleday, but the reality is so poetic too. A man named Joy holds the first game on fields of paradise. Awesome.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
