Back-to-back five run 8th inning blown leads is not the end of the world - not in April - but I tell you what, if it weren't an absolutely gorgeous day full of blue sky and red tulips, I'd be totally bummed.
We're playing the worst team in baseball right now (I still think they'll come out on top at the end of the season) with a horrendous bullpen and a rotation that lost its number one starter to the pen. Phillies phans are calling for Manuel to be phired. The reigning MVP is out with a leg injury, too. It's time to take advantage of these things.
Jerry Morron is a terrible manager.
